Soner Cesur, who has graduated from the department of management information systems at Boğaziçi University, has a successful history of being part of the management of prominent international companies in his professional career. Cesur held sales and marketing-oriented managerial positions at Hewlett Packard between 2000 and 2006, he served as sales director and general manager at Sony Ericsson from 2007 to 2010, and afterwards he took senior leadership responsibilities at NetApp, the global leader in corporate data storage and management company, between 2011 and 2013.
In 2014, Cesur joined the Bertelsmann Group as Arvato Turkey CEO and during his leadership the company became one of the Bertelsmann’s fastest-growing organization worldwide. In August 2020, he acquired the Arvato CRM Turkey with a management buy-out, financially backed by German investment fund Delta Invest and changed the name of the company to Mayen. Soner Cesur is currently the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mayen, as well as the investor and Board Member of the audiobook platform, Audioteka.
Between 2015 and 2018, Cesur participated in three different senior leadership programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD and continued his development in terms of digital transformation and board dynamics.
Cesur, who has been honoured with many national and global awards throughout his career, was chosen as one of the “40 Most Influential Leaders under the Age of 40” by Fortune for two consecutive years, in 2016 and 2017. He was also listed as one of the most powerful CEOs under 40 by The Economist.
Soner Cesur, is married and father of two daughters, actively works in the area of education of girls and women's gender-balanced participation in the business world and society, as part of his activities within the companies he manages and in non-governmental organizations such as TÜSİAD, YASED, and PWN.
Hakan Fidan (Ph.D.) joined Bertelsmann Group in April 2014 and is member of the Executive Committee, serving in charge of Finance. Since 2014 he has experienced several M&A’s and company establishments for Bertelsmann in Turkey and led the services that are in common for all companies in Turkey. With more than 15 years of international experience in finance, he worked in the banking, retail, FMCG and BPO industries.
He started his career at HSH Nordbank in Germany. He later joined Tchibo in its Germany headquarters, and was in charge of local and international subsidies. Later he was assigned as the CFO of Tchibo in Turkey.
Today, Fidan manages finance & accounting, procurement & administrative affairs, process & governance and the legal department at Mayen.
He studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg and completed his Ph.D. in statistics and econometrics at the University of Hamburg between 2003 and 2007. In 2006 he served as visiting researcher at the London School of Economics. In 2015, he attended INSEAD Business School Executive Education Program and strengthened his leadership competencies.
Berna Tan is a member of the Executive Committee, serving in charge of operations at Mayen since September 2012. With more than 20 years of experience Business Process Outsourcing, she managed operation, strategic planning, and business development functions. Today, Tan manages the operation, operational excellence, together with planning and support functions at Mayen.
In 2019, Berna Tan was awarded with the Golden Award in the ‘Female Executive of the Year in the EMEA’ category by the Stevie Awards.
Tan graduated from the department of electrical engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1998 and completed her MBA at Istanbul Technical University. In 2017, she attended INSEAD Business School Executive Education Program and strengthened her leadership competencies.
Since January 2021, Aslı Güven has been working as a CHRO at Mayen.
After successfully receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in the field of Industrial Engineering, Aslı Güven started her career working in the field of Process Improvement in the manufacturing sector and has deep experience in the field of Operational Excellence. Afterwards, her interest in human focus and skills in corporate management led her to continue her leadership experience in the Human Resources field.
With more than 15 year experience in Human Resources Process Transformation, Organizational Development and Data-based Performance Management; today, Güven manages Human Resources practices, hiring, organizational development, and payroll functions at Mayen.
Since February 2021, Tufan Alatan has been working as a CDO at Mayen.
Tufan Alatan graduated from Middle East Technical University , Computer Engineering Department with an Honor degree in 1986 . After completing his Military Service he started as a Systems Engineer at IBM Ankara Office serving for several Government customers . He later started working at IBM Istanbul Office as a Sales Representative responsible for several Finance & Banking customers .
After a tenure of 9 years he moved to Garanti Technology , technology company of T. Garanti Bank as Project Manager . After working 15 years at Garanti Technology as Executive Vice President , he moved to Dogus Group to start a new technology Company to serve non-Financial Companies of Dogus Group.
Working As General Manager of Dogus Technology with his team he gave end-to-end IT Services to more than 50 companies of Dogus Group in different segments within a 4 year time frame .
He later moved to Ulusal Faktoring AS. , a financial Service Company, as Chief Information Officer responsible for Digital Transformation of Ulusal Faktoring to full Virtual Service Model . He was also responsible for IT Audits against Government Regulatory bodies like BDDK, KVKK and TBB .
With more than 35 years experience in Private Cloud , Backend Software Services , UI/UX Development , Big Data , CRM , Supply Chain; today, Alatan manages IT, R&D , RPA, Business Intelligence Competency Center, Project Management functions at Mayen.
Since February 2021, Serkan Bayır has been working as a CCO at Mayen.
After successfully receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Boğaziçi University in the field of Industrial Engineering, Serkan Bayır started his career working at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Business Consultancy Associate. He later joined HP Turkey and worked as a Consumer Accounts & Product Manager for 5 years.
After spending five years in HP Turkey, he joined HP Europe HQ in Germany and was in charge of Greece, Turkey, Israel, Middle East, Africa, and South Africa as a Regional Sales Manager for 7 years. He joined back HP Turkey as Division Head / Deputy GM between 2012-2016 and later he again assumed a regional responsibility and continued his career as responsible from a large region consisting of Central / Eastern Europe and Middle East / Africa (CEMA). After 18 successful years at HP, he joined Mayen in 2020 as a Project Director and worked for 6 months.
